We have remodeled many homes and this was by far our best experience. Steve and his team are amazing and took a real interest in making sure that everything was done correctly. It was a very big project that took six months to complete and we were ahead of budget and on time. They truly do what they say and we cannot be happier with the results. They are honest people and are a real pleasure to work with.

We can't say enough about our positive experience with SEA Construction!  We hired SEA in early 2014 for a major remodeling project which included the kitchen, dining room, living room, refinishing all of the hardwood floors throughout the house, and interior painting. We worked closely with Steve Albert for nearly one year to finalize our plans and once we started in late January 2014, we were very fortunate as Steve became our project manager.  The entire team was very professional and we were very impressed at their craftsmanship and attention to detail.  While we ran into some potential project delays, they were well-handled and the team worked diligently to come in on-time and on-budget.  There were no surprises - their billing was extremely detailed and any potential changes were discussed in advance.  The project started in late January and was completed by May 1st, lasting approximately 12 weeks which was impressive for a project of this size. This was our first remodeling project and we had heard about many bad experiences that our friends had with their contractors - but this was NOT the case for us with SEA.  One of the areas were were most impressed with was how professional and respectful the SEA team was - every night before leaving they would clean up, put away their tools and leave things very tidy, even though they were coming back the next day.  We have worked with other contractors in the past, but the SEA team is the most professional group we have ever worked with. We are thrilled with the results and the work is definitely the highest quality.  We would strongly recommend SEA and we will certainly use them for any future projects - they definitely exceeded our expectations!

Steve Albert at SEA Construction/Peninsula Siding was recommended to me by a colleague that has worked with him on many builds and remodels. We needed to have a large part of our siding replaced.

Overall, Steve, Rich, and their crew were extremely professional and did great work! Steve was thoughtful and clearly knew what he was talking about. Rich was an excellent manager -great communication and follow-through and their crew did a great job well within the timeframe they set out.

I interviewed 5 other siding companies/contractors, and SEA was above and beyond. Their estimate was right in the middle, and they worked with me on the price (we decided not to change an exterior door because it seemed too expensive, and they were fine with removing that from the estimate). They recommended a great painter. And they offer a guarantee on their work.

I'm not sure how they could have such poor reviews here on Yelp. I was surprised to see it. If you look through the "filtered" reviews, there are some glowing ones that fit within the experience I had.

We had SEA perform a major remodel on our entire 2nd floor 3yrs ago.  Steve Albert was a pleasure to work with during the estimate process.  We had a very specific cost target we were looking to achieve, and Steve was very accomadating going through multiple revisions of the estimate on a line item basis to get exactly what we wanted done for the targeted cost.  SEA then completed the job on time and on budget.  

They provided a 2yr warranty.  We had some tile damage in one of the showers that occurred due to improper sealing by the tile manufacturer.  Steve replaced everything required at no cost to us.  

I would obviously recommend them for consideration to anyone contemplating a design/build provider.

We used SEA for a major remodel of our 1937 built home. We remodeled a kitchen, two bathrooms, a hallway and a laundry room. We received excellent service from the beginning in the design phase to follow up visits after the construction was complete. The work they did was quality and they knew what they were doing. At the end of the project the price stayed exactly within the quoted estimate and there was no extra charges for anything. Steve the owner and Rich our project manager were helpful and friendly.  This was a great contractor to work with and I have recommended them to friends considering remodeling.

I wouldn't put much credence in the bad reviews.
