Peninsula Siding Company is a Preferred Remodeler with James Hardie materials. We are proud to use the best products available for our customers, and our partnership has given us some resources that we want all of our customers to take advantage of.

We use products that infuse color technology, as well as other home renovation technologies for protecting your most prized investment: your home. Geographical locations influence house siding in different ways, thanks to Mother Nature. The James Hardie fiber cement siding is designed to withstand the geographically-specific challenges to ensure the best color for your home.

Changing the exterior color of your home is a great way to update its style. James Hardie offers color inspiration in his Gallery of Homes and his local James Hardie Model Homes. When you are planning to paint your home or add new siding, start by becoming more mindful of the homes around you. What do you like, and what do you not? Once you start thinking about home colors, it becomes all that you can see when you are driving around your neighborhood.

If picking a new color is too daunting of a task, the James Hardie ColorPlus color palette will make a color match off of your original color to help you find a slight variation to use in your update. A small change will still drastically enhance the look of any home.

If you are planning on an update but do not have any inspiration in mind, begin by looking at the James Hardie Design Center. This allows you to view different types of siding products, sizes, textures and colors on a variety of architectural home styles. By surveying all of your options, you can take note of what spikes your interest and what you would like to see on your own home remodel.

With all online visualizers, keep in mind the colors on the screen aren't always a true representation of the actual color. The computer is very good at helping you explore options, understand how colors work together and what happens when using contrasting colors. Once you think you have an idea, order a sample, view a model home or talk to your contractor before committing to the final color. Never make a final decision from a computer image.
